Less than a day after Liverpool's Champions League exit to Paris Saint-Germain, reports Van Dijk, who is out of contract this summer, is mulling over the €20 million (£16.8m/$21.7) offer but is yet to give a response as he is focusing on the final stretch of this season with the Reds.

The 33-year-old shocked many when he said there has been no progress over Liverpool contract talks and anyone who said an extension was close is "lying". Losing the towering centre-back, who has been in superb form this term, would be a huge blow for Arne Slot's men for next season and beyond.
